no you ain't no Martha Fucking Stewart, that's for sure. Remember the words of Edward R. Murrow:

"Just because your voice reaches halfway around the world doesn't mean you are wiser than when it reached only to the end of the bar."

Hmm...that quote sounds suspiciously like one that a bitter bartender might keep in his/her repertoire of borrowed wisdom. Maybe somebody who studied journalism or political science at some point.

Of course it's also possible that you just rented 'Good Night and Good Luck'.

I agree with it wholeheartedly, though. It applies to blogging and people and evil technology in general... not just to me in this particular case.

And just in case you simply 'Googled' Edward R. Murrow quotes (if so, you know that the 'halfway around the world' quote is the first one on all the lists and maybe his most famous), there's another one attributed to him that may pertain here:

"Everyone is a prisoner of his own experiences. No one can eliminate prejudices - just recognize them."

By the way, I can quote Charles Manson from now until doomsday but it doesn't mean I raped and killed Sharon Tate.

People! People!

Let's not bicker! Play nice.

Wise? Unwise? Let's allow time to decide that issue. And what's all this fuss about what a dead man said, Mr. Sherman?

I'm alive and well and I could use a good tongue lashing.
